In today's life , MICROSOFT WORD is very essential software. we We need to write a lots of things daily. But it will be very difficult to write if you don't know the shortcuts. Knowing shortcuts will accelerate your writing speed. So let's know these shortcuts.

Create , Save, View and Print documents 
Ctrl+N- Open a new document.
Ctrl+O- Open dialogue box.
Ctrl+W- Close activate document.
Ctrl+S- Save document.
Ctrl+P- Open print dialogue box for pint.
Alt+Ctrl+I- Print preview / Print page limit
Alt+Ctrl+P- View print layout
Alt+Ctrl+O- View outline
Alt+Ctrl+N- View the draft


Find, Replace and Browse through text
Ctrl+F - Search a word.
Alt+Ctrl+Y Search another word (After replacing a word)
Ctrl +H - To view replace dialogue box
Ctrl+G - Open go to dialogue box.
Alt+Ctrl+ Z - To view last four corrections.
Ctrl+PageUp - To go previous correction point.
Ctrl+PageDown - To go next correction point.

Edit and Move Text and Graphics

Backspace - To delete a letter from right to left.
Ctrl + Backspace - To delete a word from right to left.
Delete -
To delete a letter from left to right.
Ctrl + Delete - To delete a word from left to right.
Ctrl+ Z - Undo the last move.
Ctrl + C - Copy the selected word.
Ctrl + X - Cut the selected word.
Ctrl+V - Paste the copied/cut word.
Alt+Shift +RTo copy the previous word
Ctrl +Alt +V - Open the paste special dialogue box.
Ctrl + Shift + V - To paste only the formatting.

Insert Special Characters

Ctrl+F9 - To insert a blank field.
Shift +Enter - To add a new line into a paragraph.
Ctrl + Enter - To insert a page break.
Ctrl + shift+ Enter- To insert a column break.
Alt+Ctrl+Minus Sign - To insert an em dash.
Ctrl+Minus Sign - To insert an en dash.
Ctrl + Hyphen - To insert an optional hyphen.
Ctrl + Shift + Hyphen - To insert a non breaking hyphen.
Ctrl + Shift + Spacebar - To insert a non breaking space.
Alt + Ctrl + C -
To insert a trademark sign
Alt+Ctrl+R - To insert a registered trademark sign.

Shift + Right Arrow - To select letters from left to right.
Shift +Left Arrow - To select letters from right to left.
Ctrl+Shift+Right Arrow- To select last of the word.
Ctrl+Shift+Left Arrow- To select beginning of the word.
Shift+End - To select at the end of the line.
Shift + Home  - To select at the beginning of the line.
Shift + Down Arrow - To select a line below.
Shift +Up Arrow - To select a line up.
Ctrl+Shift+Down Arrow - To select at the end of the paragraph.
Ctrl+Shift+Up Arrow - To select at the beginning of the paragraph.
Shift+Page Down - To select the screen after one screen.
Shift+Page Up - To select the screen before a  screen.
Ctrl+Shift+Home - Go to the beginning of a document.
Ctrl+Shift+End -
Go to the end of a document.
Ctrl + A - To select the whole document.
Select Text in a Table 

Tab - To select next cell of a table.
Shift +Tab - To select previous cell of a table.
Shift+Alt+Page Down -To select an entire column to the top of the cell
Shift+Alt+Page Up - To select the cell below the column
Alt+5 on the numeric Keypad(with Num Lock off) -To select the whole table.

Apply Paragraph Formatting
 
Ctrl+1- To set a single line spacing
Ctrl + 2-
To set a double line spacing 
Ctrl+5 - To set 1.5 line spacing.
Ctrl+0 - One line spacing between two paragraph.
Ctrl +E- To give a middle alignment into a paragraph.
Ctrl+J- To give a justified alignment into a paragraph.
Ctrl+R-
To give a right alignment into a paragraph.
Ctrl+L- To give a left alignment into a paragraph.
Ctrl+M- To give indent from the left.
Ctrl+Shift+M- To remove left indent from a paragraph.
Ctrl+T- To give a hanging indent.
Ctrl+Shift+T- To reduce hanging indent.
Ctrl+Q- To remove paragraph formatting.

Perform a Mail Merge

Alt+shift+K- To view mail merge
Alt+Shift+N- To merge a document
Alt+Shift+M- To print a merged document
Alt+Shift+E- To edit data of mail merged document
Alt+shift+F- To insert a merge field.
